LEADING FUTURE FORWARD EDUCATION
I am Dr. Tilottama (Tinty) Bose, a high school administrator and a strong advocate for our youth to be active participants in the global economy though purpose-driven, high-engagement education that teaches and hones global competencies. In 2016, I taught History in Grades 11-12. In my quest to bring the world to my students and to expand their world view, I earned a grant to the Teachers for Global Classrooms, a program sponsored by IREX and the US Department of Education. This grant allowed me to pursue professional development activities to empower my advocacy for global education. The grant provided me with the tools and resources necessary to become a facilitator for global education. For educators, and others interested in accessing pathways to global learning and global competencies, I have made an effort to create a Global Education Guide by compiling resources and sharing my experiences.
